Richard passed away Wednesday, January 31, 2024, in Denison, Texas. Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Waldo Funeral Home. A memorial service will be held in Arkansas at a later date Richard was born October 18, 1951. He is the    son of Kenneth and Ruth Sokol. He was an electrical engineer and was one of the first engineers to start working at Apple. Richard was an avid Renaissance Fair goer. He would travel to Dallas, West Texas, Muskogee, and Chicago to visit different events. Anyone that knew Richard knew his eccentric personality.

He is preceded in death by his parents, and his sister.

He will be missed by family and friends.
