On Friday May 9, 2025, Robert Leslie Richardson, born January 11,1935 of Sherman Texas, died at the age of 90. God was good to take Robert while he intently shared with his men's Bible Study Group, his understanding on the Nature of God. Robert passed away declaring what he had devoted his whole life to. "If you declare with your mouth, Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead you will be saved", Romans 10:9. In the words of his loving bride of 70 years, Ann, "We are devastated but so eternally grateful that God granted his fervent prayer of many years, dying doing what he loved, proclaiming the gospel"

Robert and Ann are current members of Georgetown Baptist Church in Pottsboro Texas. During their 70 years of ministry and pastorates together, they were blessed to serve in many churches dear to their heart.

Preceded in death by his parents, Leslie and Thelma Richardson, and sister Bonnie Lee Smart. Robert is survived by his loving and devoted wife, Ann Childers Richardson, his son Larry Richardson, and wife Brenda, Ricky Richardson and wife Paula, Kathy Jones and husband Nick. Robert is also survived by his grandchildren, Ryan Richardson and wife Amber, Race Richardson and wife Jaclyn, Hannah Dean and husband Palmer, Rachel Rogers and husband Michael, Rumer Richardson, Brittany Lewis, Haley Wheeler and husband Cody, Anna Reed and husband Chance. Great grandfather to 17 great grandchildren Braydon, Maris, Madison, Lanie, Lyla, Quinn, Ryder, Tinley, Luke, Graham, Harper, Rhodes, Landry, Remy, Riggs, Charlie and Lottie.

In addition, there are countless treasured relationships between nieces, nephews, family and friends.

Celebration of life will be Saturday, May 17, 2025, at Georgetown Baptist Church, 207 Georgetown Rd, Pottsboro TX 75076 at 1 pm, followed by a time of visitation and fellowship. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Four Rivers Outreach, 210 S Rusk Sherman TX 75090.
