Robin Raye Holland, 67 of Cleburne, Texas passed away on January 6, 2024, after a very sudden and short battle with cancer.

Robin was born on September 25, 1956, to Ben Ray Holland and Joy Ann (Smith) Holland Hendrix in Vicksburg, Mississippi.  After Robin graduated from Richland High School in Richland, Texas in 1975, she went on to study nursing and it truly became her lifelong passion.  She earned her Licensed Vocational Nurse diploma from Saint Joseph School of Vocational Nursing in Fort Worth, Texas in 1976, and after a few years of working as a LVN she went on to pursue her associate degree to become a Registered Nurse in the 1980's at Grayson County College in Denison, Texas.  In 2013, she began her studies to obtain her Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree from the University of Texas at Arlington and while there in December of 2013, she was inducted into the Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society of Nursing as she clearly excelled in her classes.  Because she did excel and loved her study of nursing so much, she went on to pursue her Master of Science of Nursing degree from Tarleton State University in Stephenville, Texas an was thrilled to receive that honor in May of 2016.  She was extremely proud of all her degrees and was not afraid of the hard work it took to receive those honors.

Her joy in life was her love of nursing and her completeness in Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior.  She was a lifelong animal lover and loved not only her own dogs but everyone else's too!  Robin retired in July of 2023 after 47 years of continuous work as a nurse.  She took that time to become immersed in her study of the bible and wanted all she came into contact with to know that Jesus Christ was the way to eternal life and wanted them to experience a personal relationship with The Lord just as she had.  She will be missed by all who knew and loved her, and we know she is in her eternal home in heaven with her beloved Jesus.

Robin was preceded in death by her parents and grandparents, Frazier and Rena Holland and Grady and Clara Morton.  She is survived by her sister Rennie Brigman of Sherman, TX; nephew Jake Brigman and wife Mattie of New Braunfels, TX; niece Jessica Roxburgh and husband Cory of Lindale, TX; niece Angie Gregory and husband Michael of Granbury, TX, step-mother Mildred Holland as well as great nieces and nephews and extended family.

The family will receive friends on Saturday, January 20th from 1:00 PM until 2:00 PM at Crosier-Pearson Funeral Home prior to service starting.

Services will be held at Crosier-Pearson Funeral Home in Cleburne, Texas on Saturday, January 20, 2024, at 2 PM.
