Roland Jackson, aged 66 of Pottsboro TX went to be with his Lord on January 3rd 2019. Roland was born to RC and Faye Jackson on December 22, 1952 in Ennis, Texas- the fourth of five children. He is survived by son Anthony Jackson and wife Claudette; daughter Aimee Jackson; son Alman Jackson and wife Mary and daughter-in-law Marcye Irving; his brother Ronnie Jackson and sister Carrie Primm. He is also survived by 6 grandchildren, 6 great-grandchildren, 4 nephews, and 4 nieces. He is preceded in death by his father RC, mother Faye, sister Brenda, brother Benny and son Adam.

Roland lived life to the fullest. He never met a stranger and was always eager to help anyone he could. He devoted his life to work, family, joy and spiritual growth. He was a fan of the Dallas Cowboys and Dallas Mavericks. He taught his children about honor and kindness, leading by example.

Roland loved to work and to take joy in life at every opportunity. He worked various jobs in youth and eventually settled into a decades-long career in computer and IT work. He founded Roland Technology in Grand Prairie and Computer Brokers in Pottsboro. He took great joy in coaching little league football and baseball. Hobbies he enjoyed were constantly learning, researching and landscaping.
