Ronald C. Krauss passed away peacefully on April 9, 2025 under the care of Concord Hospice at Carrus Hospital in Sherman, TX with his family by his side.

Ron was born August 30, 1944, in Brunswick, Ga. to the late Jimmie Lee Krauss Green and the late Charles Frances Krauss.

Ron was married to the love of his life, Sharon Slaughter Krauss for 60 years.

He is survived by his loving wife, Sharon, two children, Ronda Charlene Krauss (Rick Rehder)of Sherman,TX.,  Ronald Craig Krauss, Jr. (Tanaya) of Driftwood, TX., a sister, Sherry Gainey of Brunswick, Ga., 8 grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren, and many nieces & nephews.

In addition to his parents, Ron was   preceded in death by his sister, Linda Lau and his brother, Charles Michael Krauss.

Ron was a welder/pipe fitter by trade and worked many years in industrial construction.

As per the wishes of the deceased, there will be no formal service.  The family will have a private scattering of ashes at a later date.

Waldo Funeral home in Sherman, Tx. is in charge of the family's needs.
