Rose Peters

Rose Peters, beloved wife, sister, aunt, and friend, passed away peacefully on August 8, 2026. She was born on January 14, 1955, to her loving parents Gene and Mary (Long) Sickman.

Rose married the love of her life, Duane Peters, on August 11, 1978. Together, they shared 48 years of marriage filled with love, faith, and cherished memories.

Rose was an ordained minister at Point of Life Bible Church. Her faith was at the center of her life. She loved the Lord and her church, and she found great joy in music and singing. Rose had a servant’s heart and loved helping others whenever she could. Her kindness, faith, and love for people touched the lives of many.

She is survived by her loving husband, Duane Peters; sister, Ruth Ann Doten and husband Robert; brother, Gene Sickman Jr. and wife Dwan; and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends who will cherish her memory.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

Rose’s life was a beautiful testimony of her love for the Lord and for those around her. She will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by all who knew her.
