Rosemary Morales (Rodriguez), of Sherman, Texas went to be with her Lord on Saturday, October 5, 2024, at the age of 70 years old.

Rosemary was born August 7, 1954, in Sherman, Texas to Felipe "Tot" and Martha "Nan" Medrano. She was adopted as a baby by her paternal grandparents Enrique and Carmen Medrano. She attended Sherman High School graduating Class of 1973.

She had her first child, Casandra also in 1973. She married Juan Morales in or around 1975 and had two children with him, Roberto and Cristina Morales. She remarried Severo "Rod" Rodriguez the love of her life on July 3, 2006, after being together for over 20 plus years and stayed married to him until his death in 2013.

Rosemary was an amazing, loving and devoted spouse, mother and grandmother. She loved her children but especially loved her granddaughter, Bella Angel. They had a special bond; Wednesdays was grandma's day. She loved spending time with her family but also loved going to the Casino and watching the wrestling, mainly the Von Eriks.

Over the years she worked at Reid's Grocery and Chevron Tommy Marts as well as prepared income taxes for over 40 years. She was a hard worker and loved it. She was loved and respected by many as a bright light and the sweetest woman on Earth. She had an impact on many lives in her community. She was there for anyone when they needed it. She will be greatly missed by many.

She was preceded in death by her parents Enrique and Carmen Medrano and Felipe "Tot" and Martha "Nan" Medrano, siblings Fred Medrano, Rosa Medrano, Enrique "Tootie" Medrano and Mary Medrano, grandson Trey Sartin, granddaughter Adriana Bounds, and spouse Severo "Rod" Rodriguez.

She is survived by her daughters, Casandra Melgaard and Cristina Morales and son, Roberto Morales and Danielle Holder, stepchildren Patricia Rodriguez, Rolando Rodriguez, Severo Rodriguez Jr., sisters, Phylis Flowers and Roy, Susie Streng, Bonnie Swindell Nall and Rick and brother Phil Medrano and Karolyn, grandchildren, Bella Melgaard, Kristina Rodriguez, Martin Rodriguez, Hunter Bounds, and many nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends on Thursday, October 10, 2024, from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm at Waldo Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 pm on Friday October 11, 2024, at Waldo Funeral Home in Sherman, Texas. Burial to follow at West Hill Cemetery, in Sherman, Texas. Food to follow at Waldo Funeral Home.

Pallbearers will be Roberto Morales, Phil Medrano, Rich Melgaard, Martin Galvan, Jesse Sartin and Valdo Arroyo.
