Russell Don Jordan, 66, of Pottsboro, Texas passed away on March 10, 2024.

Russell was born on February 23, 1958 to Hollis and Betty Jo in Sherman, Texas.

He graduated from Sherman High in 1976,  went on to study pharmacology, and later worked at Production Tool Sales. In his 50's he went back to school  and completed his nursing degree. From there he worked as an RN at Seton Medical Center and the Gatesville Correction Facility.

Russell enjoyed the outdoors, hunting, fishing, and he was a skilled gardener. He was also a talented singer and shared his ministry through music.

Russell was predeceased by his father Hollis Jordan, mother Betty Jo Jordan McEwen, sister Teresa Jordan, and daughter Lydia Jordan. Russell leaves behind his brothers Scott (Carla) and Terry Jordan and their families, as well as his son, Shane Jordan and wife Jillian, his daughter Jennifer Downey and husband Jason, 4 grandchildren Jonah, River, Catalina and Benjamin.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday March 16, 2024 at 3:30 pm:
