Graveside services for Ruth Ellen Vickers will be held at Hall Cemetery Wednesday, February 26, 2025 at 2:00pm. Ruth passed away on February 21, 2025 at the age of 73.

Ruth was born on May 28, 1951 in McKeesport, PA to the late David & Betty Humphrey (Whoolery) and was as such a joy to anyone who knew her. Ruth married the love of her life, Kenneth Vickers on August 28, 1998.

Many will remember Ruth from her years of service at the Tom Thumb and Wilson N Jones cash offices. After retirement, Ruth loved fishing, traveling and spoiling her dogs Baby, Buddy, Princess and Lil Bit.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Kenneth Vickers, Best friend & Sister, Vivian Tatar, parents David & Betty Humphrey and brother, David Humphrey.

Ruth will be available for viewing on Tuesday, February 25, 2025 from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm at Waldo Funeral Home in Sherman.
