Sandra Eagleton of Sherman, Texas, was called home by her Lord on Thursday, November 28, 2024, at the age of 86.

Sandra was born on July 17, 1938, in Bonham, Texas, to Gene and Alma Pilliod.  Sandra graduated from Bonham High School in 1957. She married Walter Eagleton in 1957, and together they raised a family. Sandra dedicated herself to being a stay-at-home mother until her children were in school, after which she worked for two Fannin County judges. Later, she pursued higher education, earning her Associate's degree as a Paralegal. She worked for several local attorneys, two state representatives, and ultimately, in Austin, for an Electric Coop lobbyist. Sandra retired in 2005.

A devoted member of her church, Sandra was actively involved in various ministries, notably starting a babies' class at the church and teaching it for over 40 years. She was always eager to lend a hand, whether it was for funeral luncheons or other church events. Her faith and love for service were at the core of everything she did.

Sandra had a passion for teaching, sewing, cooking, and hosting Sunday luncheons with her family. She was a loving Christian woman, always seeking opportunities to help others.

Sandra is survived by her brother, Don Pilliod; her two children, Elaine and Shawn; her granddaughter, Heather; and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins. She will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
