Services for Sanford Edgar Krider, 72, of Sherman, TX my beloved husband of 50 years, father, grandfather, great grandfather will be held at 2:00 PM Tuesday, April 1, 2008 at the West Sherman Baptist Church in Sherman. Rev. Danny Wood will officiate and burial will follow at the Cedarlawn Memorial Park Cemetery. Services are under the direction of Waldo Funeral Home.

Sanford passed away on Saturday, March 29, 2008 at Wilson N. Jones Medical Center in Sherman, TX.

He was born on Sunday, October 27, 1935, in Pensacola, FL the son of Sanford D. and Elizabeth Johnson Krider. Sanford married Audrey Lynn McCurdy on April 19, 1958 in Dallas, TX. He joined the United States Air Force and served our country for over 20 years before retiring. He then went to work at J.C. Penny and worked for 20 years before his second retirement. He was a member of the West Sherman Baptist Church.

He is survived by his wife Audrey Krider of Sherman, TX, daughter Vicki Creech of Leonard, TX, daughter Tammy Belcher and husband Tim of Pottsboro, TX, son Stuart Krider and wife Tracey of Sherman, TX, son Mark Krider and wife Kristi of Pottsboro, TX, nine grandchildren, Jennifer Smith and husband Jasson, Christin Mathews and husband Jason, Jason Bartley and wife Andrea, Daniel Krider and wife Crystal, Jeremy Creech, Austin Creech, Sammy Krider, Ethan Krider and Alec Krider, five great grandchildren, Jordan Smith, Kenzie Smith, Andrea Krider, Gavin Bartley and Johnathan Smith. He is also survived by his soon to be born great grandchild Hunter Krider, numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, childhood friend Clyde Higgins and a host of other family and friends.

Sanford was preceded in death by his parents.

Family night will be on Monday, March 31, 2008 from 7:00 to 9:00 PM at the Waldo Funeral Home.
