Shaun Lee McNeely, a 61-year-old resident of Sherman, TX, died on January 28, 2026, in Denison, TX.

Shaun was born on January 20, 1965, in Sherman, TX. His parents were J. Lee and Rosa Lea (Cunningham) McNeely. As a young man, Shaun enjoyed scouting and achieved the rank of Eagle Scout. On July 2, 1988, he married Denise K. McNeely in Sherman, TX.

He was a 1983 Graduate of Sherman High School. He attended Grayson College. He was a member of North Park Baptist Church in Sherman.

Shaun had worked at Alcoa Building Products and, most recently, the Wash Zone. His favorite job was a stay-at-home dad.

Things that Shaun enjoyed were golf, pool, old westerns, John Wayne movies, and classic rock music.

Shaun was preceded in death by his parents, J. Lee and Rosa Lea McNeely.

He is survived by his wife, Denise of Sherman; daughter, Samantha McNeely of Sherman; son, Cody McNeely and his fiancée, Sierra Gaffeny of Denison; granddaughters, Serenity, Brooklyn, and Ember Lynn; and grandson, Creed, all of Denison.
