Shelia Juanette Gray departed this world to be with her Lord and Savior on January 14, 2026, at the age of 67.  She was born on April 29, 1958, to Max and Lorene Pratt in Sherman, Texas. Shelia was a lifelong Presbyterian, graduated from Sherman High School in 1976, and went on to Stephen F. Austin, where she graduated with her bachelor's degree in education.  Shelia taught middle school math in several school districts, including Princeton, Crowley, and S & S.  After her retirement, she became a Math tutor at Grayson College for a short time.

Shelia married Michael "Keith" Gray on August 26, 1989. They were happily married for 34 years before Keith's passing in 2024.

Shelia had many interests. She loved going shopping, no matter where or when.

You could find her in the aisles of Walmart at 2 or 3 in the morning.

In her younger days, in the summer, she loved water skiing, swimming, camping, and going to Camp Rio Roxo.  Sheila liked making cross-stitch work, reading books, playing games, and finding unusual puzzles.

Shelia is survived by her son, Kyle Gray, and his wife, Shelby Gray of Sherman, and grandchildren, Willow, Paislee, and Wyatt Gray, brothers, Terry Pratt of Sherman and Perry Pratt (Becky) of Hempstead, Texas, and her sister, Sheena Helvey (Ken) of Allen, Texas, and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Keith Gray; her parents, Max & Lorene Pratt; her brother, Gary Pratt; and her nephew, Jared Pratt, and granddaughter, Kylee Gray.

Celebration of Life will be at Covenant Presbyterian Church 322 West Pecan Street, Sherman, TX on Saturday, February 7, 2026 at 11:00 am.  The Reverend Kristy Vits will preside.
