Sherry Lee Carpenter, 77, of Sherman, Texas passed away on June 21, 2023.

She was born on June 27, 1945, in Enid, Oklahoma to Bert and Lula Jordan.

Sherry was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and a dear friend to many. Her warm heart and kind words touched everyone she met. She will be deeply missed by all who knew her.

Sherry attended high school in El Paso, Texas, and worked at Lowes for many years. In her free time, she enjoyed sewing, crocheting, stained glass, and spending time with her family and friends.

Sherry is survived by her loving husband of 59 years, James Carpenter, her brother and sister-in-law Butch and Sue Jordan, her son Scott Carpenter, her son Mike Carpenter, her daughter-in-law Jennifer Carpenter, her daughter-in-law Jasmine Carpenter, and her grandchildren Melissa Carpenter, James Carpenter, and Jordyn Carpenter. Sherry was preceded in death by her parents, Bert and Lula Jordan, and her sister Judy Jordan.

A memorial service will be held at 1pm, Saturday, July 22nd at Waldo Funeral Chapel
