Sheryl Dean Mitchell Mabie, age 77, a resident of Sherman, Texas passed away on Sunday, December 7, 2025.  She was born in Cleveland, Mississippi.

Sheryl was a devoted mother, grandmother, sister and friend.  Sheryl was known for her kind heart, gentle spirit, and the love she shared so freely with those around her.  She loved the Lord and shared Jesus with others through neighborhood Bible Studies.

She is survived by two sons, Ron Arbelius (Donna) and Barry Arbelius (Ashley), her stepsons, Buddy Mabie and Lee Mabie, her sister, Linda Boese, her brother Reggie Mitchell (Sandy), her beloved grandchildren Shentele Apps, Robert Arbelius, Zachary Arbelius, Ethan LaFave, Jennifer Arbelius, and Brittney Arbelius, five great grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Edwin and Gerrie Mitchell, husband Gifford Mabie, her son, Doug Arbelius and grandson Clint Raines.

A graveside service will be at Fort Gibson National Cemetery in Fort Gibson, Oklahoma on Thursday, December 11th, 2025 at 12:30 pm.

Sheryl's memory will forever live on in the hearts of those who love her.  She will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered.
