Obituary

Shirley Ann Bell Milner of Sherman, passed away Monday, September 25, 2023.

She was born August 8, 1949, in Sherman, TX to Bobby Lee Bell and Hazel Naomi
(Clinton) Bell.  Shirley attended Sherman schools and graduated from Sherman High in 1967.  She completed two semesters at Grayson College before marrying and moving to College Station.  Over the years she has lived in Sherman, Irving, and Arlington.  Shirley worked at various banks as a teller and IRA specialist.  Her last job was clerking in the Grayson County Clerk's office.

Shirley was a devoted Christian and attended Victory Baptist Church until her health prevented her from doing so.

She is predeceased by her mother, Hazel Naomi Bell.  She is survived by her father Bobby L Bell, and brother David W Bell  (and wife Jo), all of Sherman; her sister, Mary Hunter (and husband Charles) of St Albans, VT; her nephew, David A Bell and wife, Gina of Sherman, great-nephews, Chris of The Colony, Colton of Sherman, great-nieces, Allison Boyd and husband, Phillip of Sherman, and Kelsey Bell of Midland; 3 great-great nieces and 2 great-great nephews.

Funeral services will be performed by Waldo Funeral Home.  Viewing is Thursday 6-8 p.m. and funeral services will be Friday at 10 a.m. with burial following at Cedarlawn Memorial Park in Sherman.  Lunch will be provided afterwards by the ladies of Victory Baptist Church at the church.
