Shirley Mae (Chasteen) Quinn was born February 13, 1936 in Wichita Falls, Texas, to Joe and Opal Chasteen. She departed this life March 17, 2016 in Wilson N. Jones Regional Medical Center in Sherman, Texas at the age of 80. Shirley married A.C. Quinn on May 30, 1975 in Sherman.
Shirley attended Wichita Falls High School in Wichita Falls, Texas. She was a Beauty Consultant for Mary Kay Cosmetics for more than thirty years. She was a member of the Lord's Church, faithfully worshipping with the West Main Church of Christ in Wolfe City, Texas, at the time of her death.
Shirley is survived by her husband of Tom Bean; two brothers, Jack Chasteen and Jerry Chasteen of Wichita Falls, TX; one sister, Mary Hunter of Morrilton, AR; three step-daughters, Kathy Reinsch of Denison, Jeana Dupuis of Dallas, and Brenda Williams of Carrollton, TX; a son-in-law, Mark Morris of Tom Bean; four grand-daughters, Laura Morris, Jenifer Cox, Rachel Reinsch and Kristina Morris; four grand-sons, Chad Williams, Shane Williams, Brian Faulkner and Joseph Reinsch; fourteen great grand-children; and two great-great grand-children.
Shirley was preceded in death by her parents; two brothers, Pete Chasteen and Joe Bert Chasteen; and one daughter, Rinda Jean Morris.
Funeral services for Shirley will be held at 2:00 PM on Monday, March 21, at the Church of Christ in Tom Bean, Texas, with Charles Wren and Kerry King officiating. Interment will follow at Cedar Cemetery with Chad Williams, Shane Williams, Barry Cox, Joseph Reinsch, Seth Morris and Steve Dupuis serving as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers will be Ronny Steen, Lanny Steen and Bob Richison.
The family will receive friends from 3-5 PM on Sunday, March 20, at Waldo Funeral Home in Sherman.
