Mr. Shonda "Twinkle" Hagood ascended from this earth to eternity Saturday, August 10, 2019 in Sherman at the young age of 47, following an extended illness.

His life will be celebrated Saturday, August 17, 2019 at 12 P.M. (noon) in the Progressive Missionary Baptist Church, 1101 E. Houston St., Sherman.  Officiating will be Elder James Ezell and Rev. Craig Davis is the Host Pastor. Burial will follow at West Hill Cemetery.

Shonda Twinkle Hagood was born in Cayce, South Carolina on June 29, 1972 to Jo Carolyn Smith Terry and Kenneth Casita, and also, his stepfather R.L. Terry who preceded him in death.

He attended Glad Tidings and Joanna Schools and he later graduated in Sherman, TX.  He worked at the Boys Club and Goodwill where he was truly loved.

He was preceded in death by his stepfather, R.L. Terry and grandfather, Cleavland Smith, Sr.

He leaves to cherish his memory, his mother, Jo Carolyn Smith Terry; father, Kenneth Cassita; sister, Diameta (Keith); brother, Joaqulinn (Buffy); grandmothers, Joyce Smith and Oliva Cassita; nephews, Roemello, T.R. Layne, Ladarren, Jervonta, Jadavian, Javon; and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

Public visitation will be Friday, August 16, 2019 at Waldo Funeral Home from 11 A.M. to 8 P.M.
