Our Beloved Jo...

Thelma Jo Stevenson was born June 24, 1941, in Ladonia, Texas. She was educated in the public schools and graduated Valedictorian from Clark High School in Ladonia, Texas.

Her life became seasoned with love when she met Alton Crumby.  The two were united in Holy Matrimony in 1957 and were blessed with two loving daughters, whom they named Shari and Gwendolyn.

Thelma accepted Christ as Lord over her life at an early age and united with Harmony Baptist Church in Sherman, Texas.  She found her niche in life as a pianist, which brought her great joy.  She was blessed to use her God-given talent at several churches in Sherman.

Thelma was gainfully employed with Texas Instrument (TI) as a technician for more than 30 years before retiring.  She then worked for Walmart as a Supervisor in Domestics for 20 years before retiring again.

When she was not playing melodious music on the piano, Thelma also enjoyed bowling and gardening.

After a blessed and productive life, Thelma Jo Stevenson entered eternal rest on Saturday, March 2, 2024.
