Thomas passed away Sunday, September 29, 2024, at 10 pm in Denison, Texas.

He was born January 28, 1967, the son of Daniel Contreras and Chloe Ann Phelps Contreras. Tommy grew up in Mesquite, spending many days playing with his friends and younger sister Angela down at the Cow Patty. When he wasn't helping his family he was busy helping his friends and others. Always wanting those around him to be happier than he was. He worked his first job at Captain D's as a cook and was able to get his first car at the age of 15. Graduating from Mesquite high school Tommy went out into the world and began his adult life. Tommy had a lot of hobbies and things he loved to do. On the top of that list would be talking to his friends about sports and cars, especially anything Cowboys or Texas Rangers related. going to the movies, spending time with his friends and family, and binge watching his favorite shows, Star Trek the next generation, Stargate SG-1, and Old Westerns. Tommy had married twice and although he never had any biological children, he did raise 4 incredible somewhat intelligent kids who he loved as his very own. Tommy eventually found himself working at Sanden where he would build his career and incredible relationships with his co-workers over the years to come. I love a lot of things about Tommy but my favorite thing about Tommy is his sense of humor. Hands down the biggest smart ass you will ever love! R.I.P.

Tommy is preceded in death by Daniel & Chloe Ann Contreras Tommy is survived by his grandkids Baron, Freya, Lilith, Alizabeth, and Mary. Survived also by his siblings, kids, nieces and nephews, Angela, Cynthia, Darrel, Mandy, Alexis, Christopher, Paul, Jonathan Sarah, Colton, Brittney.
