Toby David Robbins, 47, died suddenly on June 28, 2026.

Toby was born on November 13, 1978. He graduated from Whitesboro High School in 1998. He earned a bachelor’s degree in political science from Southeastern Oklahoma State University. Toby was employed by Cardinal Glass in Durant, OK. He also worked at FedEx and Texas Instruments in Sherman, TX.

Toby loved to travel. He and his family had visited many national parks and state parks. They were returning from a vacation in Colorado when he was killed in a car accident. Toby loved the outdoors. He treasured the time spent fishing with his son, Mason. He had often taken his nephews camping over the years. Their trips to Big Bend, Palo Duro Canyon, and deep-sea fishing in the Gulf were favorites. He has also travelled to Europe several times. Toby will be remembered for his kindness, his willingness to help others, and his joyful, outgoing personality.

Toby is survived by his wife, Christi Robbins; son, Mason Robbins; parents, Ronald and Glenda Robbins; sister, Sara (Lane) Watson; stepchildren, Haylee, Adam, and Kayla Copeland; nephews, Owen (Molly), Gavin, Brendan, and Hudson Watson; niece, Morgan Watson; father-in-law, Doug Stephens; and many aunts, uncles, and cousins.

He is preceded in death by his grandparents, J. W. and Mary Robbins, and Raymond and Joyce Barker.
