Tyler was born June 28, 1993 in Sherman, Texas to Billy Ray Smith and Carol Lee (Sullivan) Smith and passed from this life on March 7, 2017 in Sherman, Texas at the age of 23.

Tyler and his family lived in the Whitesboro and Collinsville area all his life. He was employed as a carpenter the past three years where he traveled with his job. He attended the United Methodist Church in Whitesboro.

Tyler is survived by his mother, Carol Smith; stepfather, Kyle Cantrell; brother, Travis Smith; sister, Brittany Smith; and brother, Reese Cantrell all of Collinsvillle, TX; grandfather, Dwight Sullivan and granny, Linda Sullivan; NaNa, Linda McGuire Robertson and grandfather, Johnny Robertson; uncles and aunts, Randy Sullivan, Teresa Sullivan, Tommy Sullivan, Sheila Irvin, Wayne Smith and Christina Garza.

He was preceded in death by his father, brother Justin Ray Smith, grandparents Betty Shelton, Johnny Powell, Tommy Smith and Merlene; uncle Gary Smith, "PaPa T" Tim Cary.

Memorial Services will be held at 2:00 PM on Saturday, April 8, in the First United Methodist Church in Whitesboro with Rev. Adam Spore officiating.
