Verona "Vee" Stephens rejoiced to be with her Savior Thursday, Aug 3, 2023, at the age of 78.  Verona Mae was born March 30, 1945, in Enid, OK, to Dudley & Winifred Vincent. She is preceded in death by her beloved son, Seth, pre-born daughter Stacy Lynn, and her parents. She is survived by her husband of 52 years, Alan, 2 children and their spouses: Scott (Tammy), Sarah (Michael), brothers Vernon & Victor, nephews, and grandchildren.

Vee attended Wayland Baptist College to play with the Flying Queens basketball team. She also attended Phillips University, majoring in PE. She pursued her Master's at Lamar University before teaching at DBU in Dallas, where she married Alan. Her children and grandchildren were her pride and joy. She filled her days with loving people and didn't know a stranger.

Celebration of Life service will be August 12, 2023 at 10:00am at Waldo Funeral Home Chapel.
