Virginia Lee (White) Dodson, 74, affectionately known as "Morning" by all her grandkids, went home to be with Jesus and her loving husband John, Wednesday, January 12, 2023. Virginia was born July 29, 1948, in New York and spent the majority of her young life traveling the globe, to Turkey, Italy, Switzerland, Greece and Germany as a military daughter before settling down in Grayson County where she met the love of her life one night at a 7-Eleven where she worked in 1972.  From then on, they were inseparable, traveling and raising 4 children and living a beautiful adventure until Jesus called him home in August of 2011.

Virginia is preceded in death by her husband, John, her father, Virgil, her mother Lake Frances, her brothers Richard and David, her sister Bernadette, and two grandchildren Timmy and Rebecca.

Surviving family includes her son and daughter in law Jim and Jeannie, sons J.C. and Robert, daughter Chyneen, sister and brother-in-law Jeannine and Dennis Hale and many loving grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

Funeral will be held Saturday, January 28th at 11am with a meal following the service at Liberty Lighthouse Church located at 110 W. Mulberry Street, Sherman, Texas. "I have fought the good fight,
