Virginia Dell Bailey was born in Sherman, Texas on November 1, 1939, to Mary (Punky) Dale Bailey and James (Papa) Allen Bailey. Her twin sister, Jimmie Carlton, was born in Sherman, Texas. Her other two siblings were born in Pampa, TX, Kay McCormick and Claude Allen Bailey, all of them were raised in Pampa, Texas. She passed on from this earth to be with her Lord and Savior on January 15, 2024, at the age of 84.

Virginia grew up and attended Pampa High School and eventually graduated. She attended a local church in Pampa, TX where she came to know the Lord. She was married and has three children, Dee Wayne Bond, Samuel Allen Bond, and Tresia Michelle Bond, all currently residing in Hempstead and Cypress, TX.

Virginia began her work life as a bookkeeper for a small construction company in Pampa while keeping up with her children. She was devoted to her family and her work. She and her husband moved to Houston in 1962 and started a construction company that became a successful enterprise. Virginia and Tresia became interested in showing horses. They became quite proficient at Western Pleasure and Hunter Jumper, winning many awards. The stable and barns, where they kept their horses, was expanded and in 1979 she started Windy Acres as an equestrian center. This business grew and she maintained it for many years before eventually selling it.

Virginia moved to the hill country of Texas with her husband in 2004 settling on a home `location in Canyon Lake, TX. She lived there for 20 years before her health began to decline. While in Canyon Lake she was active with her church and community. She sang in the church choir and loved the experience of serving the Lord. She learned to line dance and loved playing card games. Virginia moved to Hempstead in 2022 where she resided on her son's property until her death.

Ginger was a woman of many passions and talents. She was an avid scuba diver, loved to explore the ocean's depths, and enjoyed traveling to explore new places. She also enjoyed bedazzling her clothes, exercising, walking, and line dancing.

Her faith enriched Ginger's life, and she worshiped at Waller Baptist Church in Waller, TX. Her strong connection to her faith played an important role in her life.

Ginger is survived by her adoring children, Dee Wayne Bond and his wife Linda Hill Bond, Samuel Allen Bond and his wife Sandy Marie Bond, and Tresia Michell Bond; her siblings, twin sister Jimmie Nell Carlton and her husband Bob Carlton, Kay Katherine McCormick and her husband Michael James McCormick I; her grandchildren, Adam Brandt, Tanner Dewayne Bond and his wife Kimberly Ann Bond, Hillary Cornell and her husband LD Cornell, Ashley Marie Obrion and her husband Jimmy Obrion, Jessi Wolski, Hunter Allen Bond and his wife Samantha Rae Bond, Amber Lynne Bond and her husband Patrick Lane, and Madison DeeAnn Bond; her great-grandchildren, Tristan Bryce Bond, Emily Valynn Bond, Kendall Avery Bond, Cadence Bailey Obrion, James John Obrion, Jesse Bond Obrion, Logan Reese Bond, Blake Riley Bond, Samuel Keoni Lane, Emmanuel Kealoa Lane, Lennox Kekoa Lane, Lee Walker Cornell, Vivianne Leigh Cornell, and Barrow Hill Cornell; her great-grandnieces and great-grandnephews, Tiffany Nicole Smith, Jeremiah Caine Walton, Michael Wayne Smithson, Emily Katherine McCormick, Aiden James McCormick, Callista Ainsley Dial, Jack Dial, Trinity Rae Walton, Jason Walton, James Walton, Mally Smithson, Laura Henry, and Maggie Henry; her nieces, Julie Kay Smith, Regina Bailey, and Krista Ann Bailey; and her nephews, Jim Bob Smithson, and Dr. Bryan Cable McCormick and his wife Stephanie Ann McCormick.

Ginger was predeceased by her brother Claude Allen Bailey and her nephew Michael James McCormick II.

Ginger's children want to express their deepest gratitude to the loving caregivers Rhoda Ogrecha, Tilla Khamis, and Brandi Raven. Your unconditional love, support, and entertainment enriched Ginger's last months.

Friends and family are invited to pay their respects at Klein Funeral Home in Tomball, Texas, on January 25, 2024. The viewing will begin at 1:00 pm, followed by a service at 2:00 pm. A second service will be held at Waldo Funeral Home in Sherman, Texas, on January 27, 2024, at 1:00 pm. The funeral procession will proceed to Friendship Cemetery.

The caring staff at Klein Funeral Home in Tomball, TX and Waldo Funeral Home in Sherman, TX, respectively, have been entrusted with the arrangements for Ginger Bailey.

Ginger will be dearly missed by her children and by all who had the pleasure of knowing her. Her memory will live on through her family and friends, as they cherish the time they spent with her.
