Vonetta Storey-Taylor transitioned from her Earthly life on February 9 ^th , 2022. She was the second-born child of Roy Storey Sr. and the late Bonnie Storey on July 23rd, 1972. She was educated in the Colbert Public Schools and was a 1990 graduate of Colbert High School. She continued her educational studies and received a bachelor's degree in Nutrition from Texas Woman's University. After receiving her degree, she began a lifelong career focusing on child nutrition and food safety. At the time of her passing she was employed by Dallas ISD as an Area Supervisor in the Food and Child Nutrition Services Department.

She will always be remembered for her radiant smile, infectious laugh, and her love for cooking.

Vonetta Storey-Taylor's legacy of love and devotion will linger in the hearts of her two children, Da'Von Storey, Simeon Taylor, father, Roy Storey Sr., brothers, Roy Storey Jr., Marcus Storey, and a host of other relatives and friends.

Vonetta Storey-Taylor was preceded in death by her loving mother, Bonnie Jo. Storey.

The funeral service will be Saturday, Feb. 19 ^th at 10 A.M. at Trinity Lighthouse Church, 2915 Spur 503, Denison.  Rev. Raymond England is the Host Pastor and Rev. R.A. Sommers, Sr., will be officiating.  Burial will follow at Fairview Cemetery in Denison.
