Wayne was born August 21, 1953, in Plainfield, NJ, to Dorothy Welch and Norman Derrick. He and his family moved to a small town in Mexico in 1997 where his wife Edelmira was born and during that period he loved spending time in their garden planting flowers and as a side job making pastries and the occasional wedding cake for those who wanted one. He also became a fish farmer where he raised rainbow trout and to the surprise of many even had quail while raising chickens as well. In 2006 he moved to Van Alstyne Tx, where his son went to VAMS and VAHS and in 2012 finally settled in Sherman, TX where he lived until the day he departed from this world. He had lots of hobbies that he enjoyed during his life like cooking, baking, gardening, fishing, Arrowhead hunting, traveling and playing video games with his son.
Wayne is survived by his wife Eldelmira, son Dominick, mother Dorothy, sisters Norma, Barbara, brothers Rick and Mike.
