Whitney Paige Walker Penland, age 37, of Sherman, TX, was called to her Heavenly home on December 28th, 2023, after a long battle with heart disease.

Whitney was born on August 15th, 1986, to Randy and Tina Walker in Durant, OK. Whitney graduated from Bonham High School in 2005. After graduation she earned her CAN certification from Grayson County College. After working a few different jobs, Whitney found her place at Lone Star Food Store in Bells, TX. Whitney dearly loved her work, family, and customers.

Whitney met the love of her life, John Penland and they married on October 25th, 2017. They were blessed with a son, Jack.
Whitney's greatest joy was her two sons, Gunner aged 10, and Jack, age 6. Whitney enjoyed spending time with family and friends, going to movies, fishing, 4 wheelers, motorcycle rides, and just having fun.

Whitney was preceded in death by her Papaw Billy Walker of Ravenna, TX, Dad Randy Walker, of Bonham, TX Grandparents Norma & Harvey Taylor of Durant, OK.

Whitney is survived by her husband John and son Jack of Sherman, TX, Parents Tina and Everett Younger and son Gunner Younger of Bokchito, OK. Grandmother Jimmie Gibbs Walker of Bonham, TX, Brother Eli Walker, and wife Amanda of Blue, OK, Sister Bailey Walker of Durant, OK, Brother Adam Younger of Bokchito, OK, Sister Candi Walker of Greenville, TX, and nieces and nephews, and cousins whom she loved dearly.
