Wilda Chastain

Leonard- Graveside funeral services for Wilda Ray Chastain will be held at 2:00 PM Sunday, November 3 at Van Alstyne Cemetery.  Mrs. Chastain, 98, passed away Wednesday, October 30 in Leonard.

Wilda was born June 14, 1926 in Martha, Oklahoma to the late Wade and Eva (Goode) Enloe.  She worked for many years in the school cafeteria for Paris schools and later at Burlington Industries.  In retirement, she enjoyed her trips to the Choctaw casino.

Mrs. Chastain is survived by her son Gary Dobbins and his wife Angie of Leonard; daughter, Carol Ludlam of West Monrow, LA; 6 grandchildren, Steve Dobbins, Gary L. Dobbins, Gerald Dobbins, Jill Ratliff, Alan Hamons, and Dale Ludlam; 3 stepchildren, Billy Chastain of Pennsylvania, Randy Chastain of West Monroe, and Lisa Ontiveros of Houston.  She is also survived by several great grandchildren and great great grandchildren.  She was preceded in death by her parents; 2 sisters, Doris Kuykendall and Sue Wright; husband, Bill Chastain; and 3 children, Kay Sebren, Billy Dobbins, and Bobby Chastain.
