IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Wyatt Keith
Gary
May 11, 2000 – February 21, 2025
Wyatt Keith Gary, 24, of Sherman, Texas, passed away on Friday, February 21, 2025. Wyatt was born in Dallas, Texas, on May 11, 2000, to parents Brian Keith and Cheryl Lynn at Texas Health Presbyterian Hospital. He lived his early years in Southlake, Texas, before moving to Gunter, Texas, at the age of three. Wyatt went to elementary school in Gunter, where he played baseball and created many happy memories with his siblings, Meredith and Michael. Wyatt began attending Texoma Christian School (TCS) in the fourth grade and, after moving to Sherman in 2013, graduated from TCS in 2019. While in high school, Wyatt continued to play baseball and excelled in music. He received top honors at state-level music contests and made various all-district baseball teams at TCS. After briefly studying music at the University of Central Oklahoma in 2019, he finished his education at Grayson College, obtaining an associate of science degree in business administration.
Wyatt's vivacious personality was always on display, enriching the lives of all that knew him. As an avid musician, Wyatt played both classical piano and the electric guitar exceptionally. He used those talents to glorify God as a member of the worship bands at TCS and Sherman Bible Church. Wyatt was also pursuing a career as a pilot. He had obtained his private pilot's license, instrument rating, and CFI certification at US Aviation in Denton, Texas. He had planned to enlist in the United States Air Force this spring with aspirations to fly fighter jets. Wyatt aimed to fly at a commercial airline after serving his country.
Wyatt was preceded in death by his grandfather, J. Keith Gary.
He is survived by his parents, Brian and Cheryl; his sister, Meredith, and her husband, Carter; his brother, Michael, and his wife, Elisa; his grandparents, Uva Mae Gary, and Don and Linda Rupprecht; and his beloved dog, Harley.
