Obituary
Yvette B. Mitchum, age 88, of Sherman, TX left her earthly home on January 11, 2016 and met her Heavenly Father face to face.
She was born on June 22, 1927 in Beaumont Sur Oise, France the daughter of Emile and Emilia Jeanne Stephanie Soufflet Blanchard.
Yvette married Kenneth Mitchum in 1953 and they moved into the United States in 1958.
She is survived by her daughter, Johanna Sandlin and husband David of Pottsboro, TX, two grandchildren, Dustin Sandlin and wife Kristin of Bells, TX, and Adam Sandlin of San Francisco, CA, two great grandchildren, Bryson and Lincoln Sandlin.
Yvette was preceded in death by her parents and her son, Phillip E. Mitchum.
Memorial services will be held at 11:00 AM today January 12, 2016 at the Trinity Lighthouse Church in Denison, TX.
Arrangements are under the direction of Waldo Funeral Home in Sherman, TX.
In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to Home Hospice of Grayson County at 505 W. Center Street in Sherman, TX 75090.
