Zoetta Linley Williford

A life beautifully lived, Zoetta Linley Williford, affectionately known to all as "Baby Zoe," graced the world with her presence on November 30, 1946. Born in Denison, Texas, to the late Willis A. Linley and Elner B. Linley, she was the cherished next to the youngest of her six siblings. From a young age, Zoetta embraced a steadfast faith, accepting Christ and becoming a dedicated member of Mt. Zion Baptist Church in Denison, where her spiritual journey blossomed.

Zoetta's pursuit of knowledge was marked by determination; she completed her 10th grade year at Denison High School and later returned successfully to earn her GED. Throughout her professional career, she contributed her talents to several esteemed organizations, including Texas Instruments, 2 State Sales, and M & P Bank, leaving a mark of diligence and commitment wherever she served.

A profound chapter in her life began on August 15, 1964, when she united in holy matrimony with Leander Williford in Grayson County, Texas, building a foundation of love and companionship that would endure.

At the core of Zoetta's being was an extraordinary heart, overflowing with love and an unwavering passion to assist every individual she encountered. Her boundless empathy and generous spirit were truly remarkable; she was a steadfast source of comfort, guidance, and practical help to family, friends, and even strangers. Zoetta's genuine care and vibrant demeanor created a ripple effect of positivity, leaving an unforgettable impact on countless lives and embodying the true essence of selflessness.

On May 15, 2026, Zoetta's earthly journey concluded as she was called home to her eternal rest. She is reunited with her beloved parents, Willis A. and Elner B. Linley, and her siblings who preceded her in death: Sheryl A. Linley, Emma Mae Davis, Connie Lee Lemons, and Claudesta Roberts.

Her beautiful legacy of faith, kindness, and unwavering support will be treasured and carried forward by her loving family: her sister, Willie Mae Calhoun of Ft. Worth, Texas; her devoted son, Samuel Williford (Unique) of Denison, Texas; and her cherished daughters, ZsaZsa Williford of Atlanta, GA, Tanya Williford of Little Elm, Texas, and Janna Linley of Denison, Texas.

Zoetta's spirit of generosity and compassion will forever inspire those who were blessed to know her.
