Funeral services for Agnes J. Rooker, 100, of Lancaster, TX will be held at 11:00 AM Thursday, August 9, 2007 at the Chapel on the Hill at Cedarlawn Memorial Park Cemetery. Services are under the direction of Waldo Funeral Home in Sherman, TX.

Agnes passed away on Sunday, August 5, 2007 at the Williamsburg Village Nursing Home in DeSoto, TX.

She was born on March 28, 1907 in Dallas, TX the daughter of Charley A. and Lillie (Morrow) Harden. She married Robert Rooker on April 1, 1923, he preceded her in death on August 20, 1978.

She is survived by her three grandchildren, Rodney Meisell and wife Liz of Lancaster, TX, Randy Meisell and wife Doris of Lancaster, TX, Regina Fikes of Lancaster, TX, five great-grandchildren, Shannon Meisell of Albuquerque, NM, Robert Meisell of Dallas, TX, Todd Meisell of Orange, Va., Christina Meisell of Red Oak, TX and Jacob Fikes of Lancaster, TX, three great-great-grandchildren, Alexis, Caden and Michael. She is also survived by her son-in-law Dick Barbour of Garland, TX, numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and a host of friends.



Family night will be on Wednesday, August 8, 2007 from 7:00 to 8:00 PM at the Waldo Funeral Home in Sherman.
