Services for Lynn Thomas, age 71 of Sherman who passed away at her residence on Thursday, March 20, 2008 will be held at 2:00 PM Saturday, March 22, 2008 at Harvest Time Assembly of God. Pastor Jonathon Faggart will officiate and arrangements are under the direction of Waldo Funeral Home.

Lynn was born on the Twelfth of February, 1937 in Cleveland, Ohio to Richard Edward and Elizabeth Powell O'Connor. On June 19, 1954 she married Boyd Thomas and they were married for 50 years and had five children together. She was the proud mother of two sons and three daughters. Lynn served alongside Boyd in Pastoral Ministry for 30 years.

Surviving are two sons, Michael Thomas of Mentor Headlands, OH and Mark Thomas and wife Anita of Elizabeth, PA: three daughters, Tracy Falls and husband David of Ashtabula, OH, Sue Lyon of Ramrod Key, FL, and Lisa Whitfield and husband David of Van Alstyne, TX; 12 grandchildren, Michael Thomas, Lori Ann Kovac, Michelle Thomas, Richard Thomas, Alexander Thomas, Joshua Rice, Brandon Rice, Sabrina Falls, Andrew Lyon, Nicolas Lyon, Amanda Whiffield and Kelsie Whitfield; 4 great-grandchildren, Amiyah Griffith, Alex and Halle Connelly and Christian Walters; two brothers, Richard O'Connor of Chesterland,OH and Ralph O'Connor of Sheffield Lake, OH; sister, Patricia Meeks of Sun City, FL; and a multitude of family and friends.

Lynn was preceded in death by her parents and a great-grandson, Braydon J. Rice.

The family will be at Waldo Funeral Home on Friday evening from 7 to 8 PM.
