Burial will follow at Oakwood Cemetery in Whitesboro. Ms. Wall passed away Monday, April 21, 2008 at her residence.

Nancy was born December 13, 1937 in Laird, Texas to Katherine and Clifford Wall along with her sister Shirley Tedder and brother John Wall. She was a devoted aunt, teacher, volunteer and friend who cared deeply for not only the education of children, but for the welfare of all she came in contact with during her life, travel and learning about new things was in her blood. After teaching 35 years Nancy continued to quench her thirst for travel by going all over the United States and Canada and Europe. Her life as a volunteer included working with TMC Ambulatory Care Center, Texas Retired Teachers Association, Kindergarten Teachers Association, Texas Classroom Teachers Association and Association of University Women.

Nancy was a devoted daughter, sister, aunt and friend to many. Her life will be remembered as a joyful and celebrated one. Even though she lived for 70 years with us her presents will be ever so missed, so much that even if she lived to be twice her age others would always want to be near her, for her spirit was uplifting.

She was a teacher in Sherman from 1961 to 1994 when she retired. She taught at Washington and Crutchfield Schools. She was Certified in Kindergarten and Elementary and in the Library. She has a B.S. North Texas University and master of Education and Counseling at North Texas University.

She was survived by her niece Sharon Walden of Palestine, Texas. Nephew; Jay and Faye Tedder of Palestine, Texas. Great Niece Jessica Douglas of Walnut Springs, and Great Niece Tiffany Walden of Athens, Texas. In addition she also has 4 great-great nieces and nephews; Lexi, Gage, Zach and Ricky the children of Jessica and Ricky Douglas.

She was an amazing human being who will be missed but never forgotten because of all the lives she has touched with her loving heart.
