Memorial services for Royal Franklin Jenkins, 75, of Sherman, TX will be held at 7:00 PM Saturday, August 30, 2008 at the Waldo Funeral Home Chapel. Rev. Alan Mattingly with Always Better Care will officiate. Services are under the direction of Waldo Funeral Home.

He passed away on Monday, August 25, 2008 at his residence in Sherman.

He was born on February 20, 1933, in Balm, FL the son of Benjamin Franklin and Gladys Odessa Sweat Jenkins.



He is survived by his son Frank Jenkins and wife Kisha-Rees Jenkins of Sherman, TX, daughter Belinda Sharon Gann of Pottsboro, TX, daughter Gwendolyn Kaye Glasgow of Sherman, TX, son Kevin Jenkins of Sherman, TX, nine grandchildren, eight great grandchildren, ex-wife Audrey Reed and husband Billy of Sherman, TX, sister Rhonda Ashby of Tampa, FL, sister Rhonita Green of Sarasota, FL, brother Robert Jenkins of Tampa, FL and step brother Sherman Best of Tampa, FL. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews and a host of friends.

He loved fishing and gardening and spending time with his family.
