Sherman- Funeral services for Ralph D. Lough will be held at 10:00 am Tuesday, October 14 at Waldo Funeral Home. Dr. Jim Pledger and Dr. Tom Peel, ministers of the First United Methodist Church of Sherman will officiate. Interment will follow at 3:00 pm Tuesday in Parkdale Cemetery, Arlington, Texas. Mr. Lough, age 88, passed away after a brief illness on Friday evening, October 10, 2008 at The Homestead of Sherman.

Ralph was born February 22, 1920 in Springfield, Ohio to parents Peter Fisher Lough and Nora Skaggs Lough. He was preceded in death by his parents, wife Dorothy, and his only brother Bert Lough.

Ralph was an electrician and a member of the IBEW, recently receiving his 60 year service pin. He was a 32nd degree Scottish Rite Mason, a member of the Hella Temple Shrine, and a member of the Moose Lodge of Arlington. He was also a member of the First United Methodist Church of Sherman.

He is survived by two sons, Jim Lough and wife Dee of Sherman and Ralph E. Lough and wife Debbie of Dallas; two grandsons, Jimmy Lough and wife Jazz of Austin and Ralph Lough of Dallas; two granddaughters, Lori Lough of Plano and Karen O'Bryant of San Antonio; and four great grandchildren, Zoe and Gavin Lough of Austin, Patrick Sigler of Plano, and Katie O'Bryant of San Antonio.
