Funeral services for Eveline Klas will be held Friday, August 13, 2010 at 10:00 AM in the Waldo Funeral Home Chapel. Rev. Don Phelps of the 1st Baptist Church of Linden will officiate. Pallbearers will be grandsons Jeremy Klas and Jason Klas and nephews Dennis Hill, Dale Hill, Richard Hill and Mark Armstrong. Burial will follow at Friendship Cemetery. Waldo Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.

Eveline was born April 27, 1921 in Sedalia, TX to Alfred Henry and Nellie Mae (Hunter) Hill. She married Raymond William (Buster) Klas in Sherman on October 8, 1948. She was lovingly known as ?MoMo? by her children and grandchildren. Eveline worked with her sister Geneva for a number of years at the Blue Bonnet beauty shop. She was also a member of the Sherman Garden Club.

Eveline was a long time member of East Sherman Baptist Church where she taught the five years olds in Sunday school and worked in the church nursery.

Preceded in death by her parents, eight brothers and sisters and one grandchild Jared Pratt, she is survived by her husband Buster of Sherman, sons Stephen Henry Klas and wife Pam of Van Alstyne and Philip Klas of Sherman, brother Theodore Hill of Sherman, sisters Opal Armstrong of Sherman and Robbill Tellman of Irving; sister-in-law Marjorie Hill of Sherman, grandchildren Joni Collier, Jason Klas, Jeremy Klas, Johnathan Pratt and Justin Pratt and six great-grandchildren.

There will be a visitation on Thursday, August 12th from 6:00 ? 8:00 PM at Waldo Funeral Home
