Obituary

Scottie Dow Williams of Denison, Texas passed away into the arms of his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ on September 20. 2010 in Denison.

He was born in Hobbs, New Mexico on March 3,1940 to Victor and Grace Williams who preceded him in death. He is survived by his wife Kayren of Denison, Texas; daughters, Marnie Molton and husband Kelly of McKinney, Texas; Kayren Adams and husband Steve of Sherman; sons, Benji Gleaves and wife Karina of Anna, Texas and Justin Williams of Sherman, Texas. He is also survived by six grandchildren, one great grandchild and one sister, Suzanna Pickitt and husband Charles of Garland, Texas. Scottie was a modest person, he would not want accomplishments listed here, but would prefer to be remembered as a man who took delight in simple things. He found "common ground" with almost everyone, and never met an unimportant person. He will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered.

The family would like to give special thanks to Dr Imran Siddiqi, Dr. Robert Watson and the 4th floor nurses of Texoma Medical Center and Dr. Mary Hebert and the staff at Texas Oncology for their compassionate and loving care given to Scottie during his stay at TMC. Also the staff at Homestead of Denison and American Hospice of McKinney for all their love and care during his final hours.

The family will hold a private memorial and burial service.

Arrangements are under the direction of Waldo Funeral Home in Sherman, TX.
