Obituary
Memorial service for Kenneth "Ken" Irvin Grigg, age 61, of Dallas, TX will be held at 2:00 PM Wednesday, August 24, 2011 at the Waldo Funeral Home Chapel. Dr. Mike Lawson of First Baptist Church in Sherman will officiate.
Ken passed away on August 18, 2011 in Dallas, TX.
He was born on June 15, 1950 in Sherman, TX the son of Homer Irvin Grigg and Margaret Abbott Grigg Atkins. Ken graduated from Sherman High School in 1968 then graduated from North Texas University with a degree in banking and finance. He was a member of Central Christian Church in Sherman. Ken was an active member and donated countless hours to the Dallas Public Library, Timberglen Branch.
Ken in survived by his sister, Tricia Grigg and her boyfriend Gary Shields and two aunts, Bertha McCuan and Fay Grigg both of Sherman, TX. He is also survived by numerous cousins and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents and step dad, Wayne "Zeke" Atkins.
