Denison- Rex Allen Daniels was born on April 10, 1956 in Amarillo, Texas to Leland Daniels and Mozelle (Wooten) Daniels and passed from this life Thursday, January 19, 2012 at the Texoma Medical Center at the age of 55.

Mr. Daniels had lived all his life in Grayson county and resided at the Denison Manor for several years. He was an avid fan of the Dallas Cowboys and people that knew him said he was a "sideline coach". He was a very caring man who deeply loved his family. His nieces and nephews were very blessed to have an uncle that took care of them as he did as they were growing up. He will truly be missed by his family and friends.

Mr. Daniels was preceded in death by his parents, and two sisters, Mary and Debbie Daniels.

He is survived by his niece, Malicia Daniels-Broyles and her boys, Dillion and Daniel of Greenville, TX, nephew, William Geter of San Francisco, CA, and his daughter, Kaitlyn Brown of Greenville, TX, brother, Ray Daniels and wife Joan of Wylie, TX, and his sons, Billy Ray and James Daniels both of Wylie, brother, Bruce Daniels of Palestine, TX, and his sons, Josh Daniels and wife Jennifer, and their boys Zack, Parker, and "Hurricane" Carson of Howe, Jason Daniels and wife Meranda, and their children Myles, Rylee, and Parx of Denison, Johnny Daniels and children Casey and Cali of Denison, Bruce Daniels Jr. and daughter Chassity of Kemp, TX, and caregiver Trish McElvy of Denison.

Memorial services for Mr. Daniels will be 1:00 pm Tuesday, Jan. 24, 2012 in Waldo Funeral Home chapel with Rev. Donald R. Perschall officiating.

The Daniels family wish to extend a special thanks to the entire staff at Denison Manor for the loving care and kindness that Rex received during his time there.
