CEDAR FALLS- Oleta Norris Wilson, 88, of Cedar Falls, formerly of New Mexico, died Sunday, August 5, 2012 at the Cedar Valley Hospice Home in Waterloo
She was born October 31, 1923 in Slaton, Texas, daughter of Jessie H. and Hazel (Williams) Norris. She married Ray "Pete" Wilson on February 7, 1942 in Durant, Oklahoma.
She worked as a substitute teacher, sales clerk and in assembly at GTE, retiring in 1988.
Survived by: her husband of Cedar Falls; one daughter, Janette (Wayne) Kohls of Cedar Falls; three grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and a brother, Bill Norris of Garland, TX.
Preceded in death by: a sister, Velma Lee Henderson.
Services were held at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at Richardson Funeral Service with burial in Cedarlawn Memorial Park in Sherman, Texas on Friday, August 10, 2012 at 1:00 PM at the Chapel on the Hill.
