Graveside funeral services for Lyle Hubert Wiser will be held at 11:00 AM Saturday, October 13 at Akers Cemetery. Pastor Keith Taylor of the Southside Baptist Church will officiate.

Mr. Wiser, 80, passed away Tuesday, October 9 at Texas Health Presbyterian- WNJ Medical Center.

Lyle was born September 15, 1932 in Branch County, Michigan to the late Alva and Lottie Wiser. Mr. Wiser worked for Dodge Manufacturing in Mishawaka, Indiana and retired from Texas Instruments in Sherman. In his free time, he enjoyed camping, baseball, and watching his children and grandchildren compete.

He is survived by two daughters, Cathy Blankenship and husband Kennis of Sherman and Janis Wiser of Sherman; two sons, Dennis Wiser and wife Sherry of Buchanan, Michigan and Jeff Wiser and wife Anne of Sherman; seven grandchildren; and seven great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents; the mother of his children, Georgia Wiser; two brothers, Lloyd and Bud Wiser; and grandson, Denny Blankenship.

The family will receive friends Friday from 6:00-8:00 PM at Waldo Funeral Home.
