Funeral services for Bobbie Ruth Marshall, age 82, of Sherman, TX will be held at 2:00 PM Thursday, October 18, 2012 at the Waldo Funeral Home Chapel with Dr. Beryl Mackey and Wilburn Grisham officiating. Pallbearers will be Aaron Whitmire, Brian Canady, Lukas Dean,Rick Banker, Clay banker and Todd Taylor. Burial will follow at Cedarlawn Memorial Park Cemetery in Sherman. Arrangements are under the direction of Waldo Funeral Home in Sherman.

Bobbie passed away on Sunday, October 14, 2012 at the Texas Health Presbyterian-WNJ Hospital in Sherman.

She was born on July 24, 1930 in Caddo, OK the daughter of P.V. and Ola (Isbell) Banker. Bobbie graduated from Putnam City High School in Putnam, OK. She married L.G. "Bud" Marshall on September 10, 1948 in Oklahoma City, OK. He preceded her in death on August 12, 2000. Bobbie was a Charter Member of the Parkview Church of Christ and the Crockett Elementary PTA. She was a great cook, seamstress and an avid sports fan. Bobbie was employed by Halliburton Oil in OKC, OK, Quaker Oats and Hardwicke Etter in Sherman before her retirement.

Bobbie is survived by her two daughters, Sherie Phillips of Sherman, TX and Janet Locke and husband Joe of Pottsboro, TX, 4 grandchildren Dena Canady, Lisa Whitmire and husband Aaron, Joshua Locke and wife Courtney and Jayna Dean and husband Lukas, 10 great grandchildren, Kailyn Canady, Jaiden Canady, Noah Canady, Jillian Whitmire, Lauren Whitmire, Madelyn Whitmire, Hannah Locke, Grant Locke, Peighton Locke and Hudson Dean. She is also survived her sisters in law, Mary E. Banker, Mary M. Banker and Margaret Taylor.

Bobbie was preceded in death by her parents, husband, and three brothers, Jarrell, Dale "Judge" and Perry Banker.

The family will receive friends at Waldo Funeral Home on Wednesday, October 17th from 6:00 to 7:00 PM.
