Graveside services for Tiny Etta Reatherford, age 89, of Sherman, TX will be held at 10:00 AM Monday, January 20, 2014 at the Cedarlawn Memorial Park Cemetery in Sherman, TX with Brother Charles Morris officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Waldo Funeral Home in Sherman.

Mrs. Reatherford passed away on January 16, 2014 at her residence in Sherman.

Tiny was born on August 28, 1924 in McKinney, TX the daughter of Willis Garrett Darland and Betty Ethel Hutcherson Darland. She married D.H. Reatherford on April 12, 1941. He preceded her in death on April 11, 2005. Tiny was a member of the American Legion, AMVETS and VFW Auxiliaries.

Tiny is survived by her five daughters, Doris Morrow of Sherman, TX, Peggy Wood and husband Lonnie of Sherman, TX, Margie Humphries and husband Terry of Westminster, TX, Patsy Curtis and husband Buddy of Whitewright, TX and Wanda Johnson and husband Mike of Ida, TX, one son, Travis Reatherford and wife Bobbie of Sherman, TX, 17 grandchildren, 35 great grandchildren and 18 great great grandchildren. She is also survived by her sister in law, Esther Reatherford and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, three great grandchildren, William Garrett Morrow, Dusty Scott and John Wesley McDonough, three brothers, W.G. Darland, John Earl Darland, James Merle Darland and one sister, Bart Cody.

The family night will be held on Sunday, January 19th from 6:00 to 8:00 PM at Waldo Funeral Home.

Pallbearers will be Gary Dobbins, Gerald Dobbins, Michael Johnson, Jason Johnson, Gary Myers and T.J. Cunningham. Honorary pallbearers will be William Myers, William Briley, Dylon Curtis and Timothy Lancaster.

The family would like to say a special thank you to Natalie, Jennifer and Keshia and the entire staff of Gaurdian Hospice for all the care given.
