Chris Maynard, 54yrs, passed away Friday of Luekemia June 12, 2015 in Whitesboro, TX. Visitation will be held Monday 6-8pm June 15, 2015 at Waldo Funeral Home in Sherman, TX. Funeral services will be held Tuesday 10am June 16, 2015 at Fairview Baptist Church in Sherman. Rev. David Taylor will officiate. Burial will follow at Cedarlawn Memorial Park in Sherman.

Chris was born September 24, 1960 in Dublin, TX to Patrick Clarence Maynard and Betty Charlene (Carey) Maynard.

Chris enjoyed fishing, drinking coffee with his buddies in Whitesboro, and his 28 years he spent working at Goodwill Industries in Sherman in the distribution center. He loved watching the Texas Rangers, Frisco Rough Riders, The Dallas Cowboys, and the Dallas Mavericks. Chris will be deeply missed by his friends and family.
Chris is survived by his parents, Pat and Betty Maynard of Whitesboro; uncle, Lyndal Carey of Denton, TX; aunt, Von Dean and husband Bill Muncreif of Abilene, TX; aunt, Margaret Colley of Abilene; aunt Nancy Mayo of Belton, TX; friends, Jackie Jester and wife Linda of Whitewright, TX, David Taylor and wife Patsy of Sherman, Frank Purdon, Jackie and wife Jane Stockton, of Bonham; and numerous cousins and second cousins.

In lieu of flowers donations can be made to either Heart to Heart Hospice or Fairview Baptist Church in memory of Chris.
