Dean Ray Martin, 54yrs, passed away July 24, 2015 in Hearne, Texas. Visitation will be held Friday 6-8pm July 31, 2015 at Waldo Funeral Home in Sherman, Texas. Funeral Services will be held Saturday 2pm August 1, 2015 at Waldo Funeral Home.
Dean was born in Los Angeles, California August 14, 1960 to Robert David Martin and Sylvia Marie (Parker) Martin.
Dean was a loving husband, devoted father, and involved grandfather. He enjoyed his work as a long haul truck driver, deep sea fishing, NASCAR, remote control cars, and talking to his buddies on the phone. He will be remembered as an easy going family man who enjoyed sharing with others.
Dean is survived by his wife of 31years, Stacey (Spooner) Martin of Southmayd, Texas; mother, Sylvia Jacobs of Sherman; daughter, Jennifer Fields and husband Jim of Howe, Texas; daughter, Wendy Taylor and husband Preston of Weatherford, Texas; daughter, Crystal Campbell and husband James of Howe; grandchildren, Clinton, Kaiden, Dakota, Emmaleigh, Phillip, Sheyanne, Mason, and Peanut; Brother, Steve Martin of Denison, Texas; and several nieces and nephews; and other family members.
He was preceded in death by his father, Robert David Martin.
