Pam Boddie

McKinney- Our precious mother, Pamela Sue Boddie, 60, of McKinney went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, January 19 after a courageous battle with cancer. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM Saturday, January 23 in the First Baptist Church of McKinney. Rev. Derrick Temple will officiate with services under the direction of Waldo Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Van Alstyne Cemetery.

Pam was born December 1, 1955 in Sherman to the late J.L. and Geraldine Anderson. She graduated from Van Alstyne High School and Austin College. She married Ricky Boddie on July 8, 1977 in Germany. Pam worked as an accountant for 33 years at Primo Microphones in McKinney.

Mrs. Boddie will be remembered as a loving mother and grandmother. She is survived by her daughter, Shanda Boddie of McKinney; two sons, Jacob Boddie and wife Amy of Van Alstyne and Trey Boddie and wife Thera of McKinney; three sisters, Brenda Gibbs of Van Alstyne, Linda Wilkins of Austin, and Teresa Otts of Sherman; six grandchildren, Kennedy, Taylor, Brock, Isabelle, Tyton, and Blake; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, and an infant brother, Timothy Ray Anderson.

The family will receive friends from 6:00-8:00 PM Friday, January 22 at Shanda Boddie's home in McKinney. Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society. The register book can be signed online at waldofuneralhome.com.
