Dell was born December 12, 1938 in Sherman, Texas to A.D. and Bessie (Collins) Isom and departed this life on Sunday, April 24, 2016 in Sherman, Texas at the age of 77.

Dell was raised in Sherman and graduated from Sherman High School. She was employed with Johnson & Johnson for a number of years and later at Texas Instruments for over thirty years, retiring in 1998.

Dell enjoyed working in her yard, tending to her many flowers, and going fishing when able. She loved being outdoors with her grandkids and great grandkids, who affectionately called her "MamMaw". Dell's family can attest and joked that she would re-decorate her home every other week. She was a member of Calvary Baptist Church.

Dell was preceded in death by her parents; sister, Geneva Cook; twin brothers, Ted and Fred Isom; sister, Aline Yager; brother, Floyd Isom; and sister, Lillian McCollom.

She is survived by her daughters, Connie Miller and husband Terry of Sherman, and Donna Hampton and husband Bill of Pottsboro; twin sister, Dale Griggs of Lake Kiowa, TX; brother, Gene Isom of Luella; sister, Delores Reeves of Ada, OK; brother-in-law, Bob Yager; grandchildren, Shauna Hampton, Ashley West, Aaron West and Jennifer Hampton; great grandchildren, Jordyn Hampton, Calvin Marburger, Brock Hill and Ariana West; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Services to celebrate Dell's life will be held at 2:00 PM on Thursday, April 28, at Waldo Funeral Home chapel with Pastors, Sid Hunter and Bobby Hancock, serving as officiants. Interment will follow at Rose Hill Cemetery in Bells with Terry Miller, Bill Hampton, Robert Allen, Billy Carroll, J.D. Fogarty, Aaron West and Ricky Yager serving as pallbearers.

The family will receive friends on Wednesday, April 27, from 6-8 PM at Waldo Funeral Home.
