Marsh "Reg" White
Rowlett, TX- Marsh "Reg" White passed away peacefully Wednesday, July 13, 2016 at 11:25 A.M. in the Baylor Scott White Hospital, Rowlett, Texas, and closed his eyes to this world but opened them to his God and personal Savior.
"Reg" was born April 1, 1953 in Bonham, Texas. Here he grew up, attended and graduated from Bonham High School. Being the person he was and striving for advance education, he enrolled at the University of Arkansas and became an outstanding football player for the Razorbacks. This caught the eye of the Detroit Lions and the New York Giants, thus propelling him into the NFL with the New York Giants, he became a professional running back.
Later Marsh taught at Southwestern Bible Baptist Institute and Dallas Theological Seminary. He traveled to many countries such as Russia, Africa and England promoting his spiritual work. His ministry through radio, Facebook and the internet reached many people and "Reg" a soft spoken, quiet and gentleman treated everyone with dignity and respect and received much love from his family and all who knew him.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents and a brother, Stanley Eugene White.
He is survived by his family left with loving and cherished memories: are his mother-Lois White; brother-Sidney Warren White; sister-Cassandra Yvonne White, aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and many friends. To Marsh, your family will meet you in the rapture.
Public viewing will be Monday, July 18, at Waldo Funeral Home, Sherman, TX, from 12 noon to 8 P.M.
The Home Going Celebration will be 1:00 P.M. Tuesday, July 19, at the First Baptist Church in Bonham, Texas, with Rev. Chase Hinson-host Pastor and Rev. Michael Braxton delivering the Eulogy. Burial will follow at Bell Fountain Cemetery in Ravenna, TX.
